MTD was a formidable educator, a school principal and the late grandfather of founder Thomas DeAngelis.  Just as MTD dedicated his life to improving the outlook of his peers, family, and students, the MTD Consulting mission is to make business work. Tom has amassed a unique set of skills, knowledge, and experience in the acquisition, merger, and expansion of companies and technologies, and in the creation of data solutions that solve actual business problems. Holding several successive senior executive positions over 20 years, Tom was charted to create continual new revenue streams, business units to both make and serve greenfield markets. Tom led business transformations by standing up scalable teams built into center of excellence modeling, where single business units dedicated to their discipline (marketing, operations, sales, finance etc.) supported over 42+ global B2B and B2C Technology companies.

The MTD Consulting Group LLC team has a cumulative 150 years of successive 10 figure revenue business building experience. Each team member has started and operated their own businesses in addition to senior management careers with major companies, public and private. 

Our executive leaders have held executive (C-Suite) and senior management (SVP/VP/Director) roles with 9 figure to Billion dollar companies, and each has worked directly under our or along side MTD Consulting Group LLC’s founder between 3-16 years. Our Sales as a Service group executes our sales strategy with deep domain expertise selling in B2B/B2C technology stacks, telecom airtime and enterprise class clients.  We have built multiple sales teams driving business unit revenues from 0 to 8 figures in 3 years in a throttled macro environment.

Our Operations team brings over 40 year of high volume multi-unit/channel sales excellence including e-commerce B2B and B2C expertise.

Thomas DiAngelis

FOUNDER & CEO

Thomas DiAngelis is an accomplished Senior Executive and Thought Leader with more than 20 years of success across the Supply Chain, Logistics, real estate, transportation, restaurant, travel and tourism industries. His broad areas of expertise include new business development, management, project / program management, and sales operations.

Thomas holds a leadership position as the Founder and CEO of MTD Consulting Group LLC where they provide comprehensive management consulting services specifically structured to support investors, owners, and developers. They are also armed with diverse deep technical expertise in key disciplines critial to success of growing organizations. Enabling clients to proactively identify and control the planning, executing, and delivering of multi-hundred million dollar assets.

Thomas has also served as the Vice President (Sales and Operations) for ORBCOMM where he scouted, contracted, and effectively managed all aspects of a complete build-out to establish a new Regional Headquarters housing C-suite executives in Boca Raton Florida. This included repositioning of core executive and operational staff, negotiations, and leading legal/finance teams to ensure proper compliance with all-region/locality requirements and staffing of 45 new employees. He also established a new revenue stream and sales division growing exponential organic growth and profitability by standing up a scalable change leading Inside Sales group and Account Management teams driving marked improvements across the global organization.

Prior to his role at ORBCOMM, Thomas additionally led the Product; Sales and Support groups for StarTrak Information Technologies and the Restaurant Manager for Doherty Enterprises.

Thomas studied Business Management from Sussex County College. He is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance – RYT 200 Hour New Jersey Yoga Teacher Training.
